These ball bearing ER collet nuts, with their two-part design, allow the inner and outer nuts to rotate independently, keeping the inner flange stationary relative to the collet during tightening. This reduces required torque, eliminates friction and collet twisting, and results in reduced runout, superior rotational accuracy, and higher cutting tool clamping forces compared to standard nuts. The reduced friction also makes it easier to close a collet to its smaller clamping range. Interchangeable with other ER25 nuts following DIN 6499, they feature a M32 x 1.5mm internal thread. Manufactured from alloy steel, hardened to Rc54-56, and precision CNC machined, these nuts ensure guaranteed rotational accuracy and are designed for use with ER25 UM type collet wrenches.
